My No Frills Beauty Favourites: Sudocrem.

I LOVE SUDOCREM

I've used Sudocrem for years for everything but its main purpose.
Any kind of skin complaint I've ever had, has a blob of the thick white potion slapped on it as soon as possible. It gets recommended to everyone!

I've used Sudocrem ....
  • as a spot treatment for acne,
  • on skin irritations such as eczema or dry patches of skin,
  • to sooth a reaction to an under eye cream I once had.
  • to heal kirks tattoo when a small patch became sore and scabby when healing,
  • as a soother to a curling iron burn,
  • to help reduce my milia spots (not sure it worked),
  • as a face mask to soak in over night,
  • to sooth where my bra  had rubbed the skin on my cleavage,
  • to calm a blister I wish I hadn't popped,
  • and once,on the dogs paw, she had nibbled it and made it sore. A bit Sudocrem stopped her from biting it leaving the skin time to heal.

Im not a beautician, doctor or a vet. What works for me may not work for you. Always be careful When dealing with your skin.
However, it goes to show, that you don't need to spend a fortune on fancy creams and treatments. Sometimes, something as boring and cheap as a £3 nappy cream will have 1001 uses.

Top Tip! when using Sudocrem, especially in a pot make sure you have clean hands before you use and never double dip* to avoid the spread of germs an infection!! i always use hand sanitizer before and after use.

*double dip means to dip your finger in the pot, apply to the affected are and then dip the same finger back in.

What are some of your skincare essentials?
Lots of Love xxx
